Our place is over at 6-2-618/8 on Road No 1 in Banjara Hills. Jk International Developers handles real estate stuff around here. It’s a busy spot, being right in the middle of everything. We have a couple of rooms near the main road. The name sounds big, but we are just regular people working on property deals. Dealing with land and buildings in Hyderabad is quite a task these days. Prices keep changing and there is always a lot of running around for papers. We spend half the time stuck in traffic going between sites. Some days are just meetings that go on too long. We talk to buyers and sellers, trying to make things work out for both sides. It’s not always easy. Sometimes a deal falls through at the last minute because of some small detail. That’s frustrating. But then something else comes along. We’ve seen the city change so much from this office. There’s new stuff coming up everywhere. We just keep our heads down and do our jobs. It’s mostly about knowing the right people and keeping track of who is selling what. We aren’t looking to be the biggest firm out there. Just want to keep the office running and the clients satisfied with the houses or plots they get. Sometimes we stay late to finish the files or just have a tea together before heading home.
