S. K Engineering Works

Our workshop is located at Plot No. D-27/A in Phase 5 of the Jeedimetla IDA. S. K Engineering Works has been operating out of this workshop for several years now. It is a typical industrial setup with heavy machines and the constant smell of cutting oil in the air. We focus on mechanical work, mostly turning, milling, and welding parts for other companies around this area. The workshop is usually a bit dark and greasy, but that is just the nature of the job we do. We do not have an HR department or a marketing team. It is just me and a crew of experienced workers who know how to handle the lathes and other tools. We get most of our work through word of mouth and by being reliable for the other units in the IDA. Our office is just a tiny corner with a desk and a few old stools where we discuss the drawings. It gets very hot in here during the summer months, but we keep the machines running anyway. We are not interested in being a big corporation. We just want to produce good quality parts that fit the way they are supposed to. Sometimes we have to rework a piece until it is perfect, and we do not mind the extra time. We have seen many shops open and close in Jeedimetla, but we have managed to keep going. It is hard, physical work, and we all go home with dirty hands, but it feels good to make things. We are just a straightforward engineering shop.
