Indus Foods is located in Ida Phase IV, Jeedimetla, at 42/B/1. The industrial area here is quite large, and there are factories for just about everything nearby. Our place is focused on food, so we have to keep things a bit cleaner than the neighbors who do metalwork or chemicals. It’s a busy phase of the IDA, and there is always a truck waiting to be loaded or unloaded. The smell of whatever we are processing that day usually hangs in the air. We don’t have a fancy office; it’s mostly just the production floor and a small area for the desk work. We wear hairnets and aprons most of the time, so nobody looks very professional in the corporate sense. The machines are old but they still do the job if you treat them right. Jeedimetla gets really congested during shift changes, so we try to time our logistics to avoid the worst of it. We aren't a massive multinational corporation, just a local food business trying to keep the machines running and the orders moving. The tea lady comes by twice a day, and that’s usually the highlight of the afternoon. We don’t spend money on advertising or shiny brochures; we just focus on what’s happening inside our own four walls.
