Jawahar & Company

You can find us over at 14-88 on Murad Mahal Road. Moghalpura is a crowded place, but we have grown to like the energy here. Jawahar & Company has been around this neighborhood for a long time. The building is a bit old and definitely not modern, but it works perfectly for what we need. We spend most of our mornings opening up the shutters and getting things ready for whoever might stop by. The road outside is always full of people, bikes, and constant noise. We handle a bit of everything in our line of work. It is not a complicated setup by any means. We have some wooden shelves that have seen better days and a desk that is a little bit wobbly on one side. But it belongs to us. We know the neighbors well, and they usually stop to say hello. Sometimes we sit out front on a stool when the weather is not too hot. The work is steady, mostly just keeping track of what is in the back and talking to folks. We do not go for big advertisements or any of that stuff. Word of mouth usually does the trick in a place like Moghalpura. It is a lot of small, repetitive tasks that fill up the day. Sorting through receipts, checking the stock, making sure the lights are actually working. It is a decent way to live.
