My place is in Saidabad, specifically at 17-251/K-A/45 in the Khaja Bagh area. It’s part of Ward No 17. I’ve lived and worked around here for quite some time now. The house and the workspace are pretty much in the same spot, which makes things easier for me. Khaja Bagh is a residential area, so it’s mostly quiet except for the usual neighborhood noises like children playing or vendors calling out in the street. I handle my business from here, dealing with whatever tasks come up during the week. It’s a very local way of doing things. I don’t have a big staff or a fancy storefront with neon lights. Most people who need me know where to find the address or they ask around in Saidabad. The room where I work has a few tables and some chairs for when people come to visit or talk about work. I try to keep things organized, but sometimes papers pile up more than they should on the desk. The weather in Saidabad can get quite hot, so the fans are almost always running. I usually start my day early, before the sun gets too high, and take a break in the middle of the day when it’s warmest. It’s just a simple, honest way to make a living in this part of town. I know my neighbors and they know me, and that’s how business is done here in Ward 17. It keeps me busy enough.
