Jaslen Foods

Jaslen Foods is based out of Plot No 926 in Ramreddy Nagar. We are right in the middle of the Ida area. Being a food business means we spend a lot of our time just cleaning things and making sure everything is tidy. The smell of the kitchen is usually quite strong, mostly flour and whatever we are roasting that day. It’s a lot of manual labor, honestly. We have a small group of workers who show up every morning to get the batches started. The building at Plot No 926 is functional, nothing too special to look at from the outside. We have been here for a few years and the neighborhood has grown a lot in that time. The trucks arrive early to pick up the orders for the local shops. Sometimes the traffic in Ramreddy Nagar makes it hard for them to get to our gate. We don't use any fancy machines; it's mostly done by hand. My hands are usually tired by five o'clock. We don't have a website or a big sales team. Most people just know our name from the packaging. We try to keep the quality consistent, but we don't go around bragging about it. It’s just a job like any other. The sun hits the front door in the afternoon, so we usually keep the shutters halfway down to stay cool while we work. We don't really have a big office, just a desk in the corner for the bills. That is basically it for us.
