J M D Safety Solutions is located at 4-15-68 on Rashtrapati Road in the Rani Gunj area. If you’ve ever been to Rani Gunj, you know how packed it can get with people and vehicles. There are shops everywhere and the streets are always full. Our place is right in the thick of it. We keep a lot of safety gear in stock, so the shop is usually full of boxes of helmets, vests, and shoes. It smells a bit like rubber and plastic when you first walk in. We have a small desk near the front where we handle the billing. It’s not a very big space, so we have to be careful about how we stack things so nothing falls over on anyone. The fans are always on high because it gets stuffy with all the stock around. We get a lot of workers from the local industries coming in to replace their gear. They usually know exactly what they want, so we don't spend much time talking about things. We just find the right size and get them on their way. The street outside is noisy, and sometimes the dust from the road blows in, but that’s just how it is on Rashtrapati Road. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the other shop owners nearby. We just focus on keeping the shelves full and helping the people who come through the door looking for gear.
