Itc Ltd. (Paper Boards & Speciality Paper Division)

Down at 106, Sardar Patel Road, you’ll find us working away at the Paper Boards & Speciality Paper Division of Itc Ltd. It’s a pretty functional space, honestly. We don’t have much in the way of decoration because the paper boards take up most of the room. People think specialty paper is something simple, but there’s a lot of variety in what we keep here on site. The road outside is always humming with traffic, which is just part of being in this part of town. We spend our mornings sorting through what came in and making sure the orders for the day are lined up. It gets a bit dusty, as you’d expect with so much paper moving around, but nobody really minds that much. We’ve got a small team here, and most of us have our own ways of doing things that might look a bit disorganized to an outsider, but it works for us. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just focus on the boards and the speciality sheets that our regulars need. Sometimes the humidity makes things a bit tricky with the stock, so we have to be careful with how things are stacked and moved. It’s just the usual daily grind of a paper division. We know the neighbors and the local delivery guys by name, and that makes the long hours feel a bit shorter.
