We’ve set up our workspace right in the house because it’s easier that way for everyone involved. You don’t need a big office building to do decent work, and being close to home saves us a lot of time on the daily commute which can be a nightmare in this city. The neighbors are mostly families who have been around for many years and know us by name. Sometimes you can hear the kids playing cricket outside or the local vegetable sellers calling out on the street with their carts. It’s a very normal, everyday place. We spend most of our hours sitting at the large wooden table we’ve had for over a decade. The walls are a bit plain and the paint is peeling in the corners, but they hold up the roof and keep the rain out during the heavy monsoon season. We don't spend money on fancy signs or decorations because that's not what matters to us at the end of the day. Mostly, we just stay busy with the tasks on our list. If someone needs to find us, they just look for the number painted on the gate. It’s a straightforward way to live and work.
