Infosys Technologies Limited

Our office is situated in 401 Divya Sai Apartments, located in the Pragathi Nagar area of Yousufguda. It is a fourth-floor space, so we rely on the lift quite a bit, though it is sometimes out of order. When that happens, the stairs are a real workout. Infosys Technologies Limited uses this apartment as a functional workspace. Since it is an apartment building, there is a lot of domestic life happening all around us. You can hear neighbors talking or the sounds of people cooking their lunch. It makes the workday feel a bit less clinical and a bit more human. The rooms are filled with computers and cables, and we’ve made the best use of the balcony for storing some of our extra supplies. Yousufguda is a busy area with a lot of traffic and shops, so there is always something going on outside. We usually order in some snacks from the shops downstairs when we have a long afternoon. There isn't a lot of space for a big conference room, so we mostly just talk across our desks. It is a bit cramped at times, but we make it work. The water guy comes every couple of days to drop off the big plastic cans, and that is usually the highlight of the morning. It’s a plain, honest workspace for us. We just focus on the tasks at hand.
