Our workplace is Flat No 407 in Varun Enclave. It's right opposite the C A L Public School in the Kapra area, near E C I L in Hyderabad 62. The name we use for everything is India. Being in an apartment complex makes it feel less like a cold office and more like a home, I guess. You can hear the school kids playing across the street during their breaks. It's a bit of a climb to the fourth floor if the lift is acting up, which happens sometimes. Inside 407, we have our desks and some storage for all the files. We’ve been in this part of Hyd for some time. It’s a busy neighborhood but our flat is relatively quiet once you close the door. We handle all the administrative work and the daily operations for India from here. It’s a small group of us. We share lunch and talk about the weather or the traffic on the way in. The office is pretty basic. We don't have any decorations to speak of. Just some computers and a lot of paper. It’s where we do our bits and pieces of work every day. No big mystery to it. We just stay here and work until it's time to head home. The traffic in Hyderabad can be a nightmare, so we try to leave before it gets too bad. Most of us take the bus or ride bikes to get here.
