India Mine Academy

We’ve been set up here at RTC X Roads in Hyderabad for a while now. If you know the area, we’re right near Sapthagiri theatre. Most people who come to India Mine Academy are looking to get into the mining industry or need to pass specific exams. It’s not a fancy place, just some rooms where we go over the syllabus and try to make sense of the technical stuff. We spent a lot of time figuring out what the exams actually require because the books can be a bit much. It’s mostly about showing up and putting in the hours. The traffic around RTC X Roads is always a bit of a mess, so we tell everyone to plan ahead. We aren't a big corporate chain or anything like that. Just a local spot where people come to learn. Sometimes the fans are a bit noisy and it gets hot, but we keep at it. Teaching mining isn't always the most exciting thing but it's important for the jobs people want. We just open the doors in the morning, get the notes ready, and start the sessions. There’s no big secret to how we do things. We just try to explain things in a way that makes sense to a regular person without using too much jargon if we can help it. It’s a lot of hard work for the students, but that’s just how it is in this field. We hope that the time spent here helps them move forward.
