Madhu Engineering Works

You can find us over at Plot No 22 in Shaktipuram, which is part of the Prashanthi Nagar area. It is a bit of a walk from the main road, but it is a decent spot for the kind of work we do. We have been here for a while now, mostly doing small-scale machining and repair work for local businesses. The workshop stays pretty busy from Monday to Saturday. We have a few lathe machines and a drilling setup that have seen a lot of use over the years. We keep them well-oiled though. The guys here are local and they live nearby, so they are usually on time unless the rain is really heavy. Prashanthi Nagar has grown quite a bit recently, and there are more small shops opening up around us. We share the plot with some storage space, so there is always something being loaded or unloaded near the entrance. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of raw material delivered at once. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you come by, you just walk in and talk to whoever isn't busy at a machine. We handle the drawings people bring in and try to figure out the best way to make the parts without wasting too much material. It is a simple way of working, but it has kept us going all this time without many complaints.
