Tirumala Engineers

We’ve been running Tirumala Engineers out of our shop at 5-A/6 on Road No. 1 for a good long while now. It’s a typical engineering workspace, meaning it’s usually loud and smells a bit like oil and metal. We do a lot of the hands-on work that keeps other machines running. It isn't the kind of place where you’ll find people wearing suits. We’re usually in our work clothes, covered in a bit of grime by the end of the shift. Road No. 1 is a busy place to be, and there is always something going on outside our doors. We handle various engineering tasks, mostly small to medium stuff that requires a bit of precision and some old-fashioned hard work. Sometimes a client comes in with a part that’s completely broken and we have to figure out how to get it working again or make a new one from scratch. It takes time and sometimes we have to try a couple of different ways before it’s right. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. People mostly find us because they know we’ve been here and we know our way around a lathe and a drill press. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, day in and day out. We try to keep things simple and get the orders out on time without making a big fuss about it.
