It’s an industrial spot, so there are plenty of warehouses and small factories around us. The air usually smells like whatever is being made next door. Our building is a simple structure that fits the neighborhood. We focus on the chemical and tech side of things, but without all the fancy lab coats you see in movies. It’s mostly just us monitoring processes and keeping track of batches. The office part is just a few desks shoved into a corner near the main workspace. It gets hot in the afternoons, but the fans keep things moving. We’ve been here long enough to know all the local tea stall owners. Most of the day is spent checking containers and making sure the labels are right. We aren't a giant corporation with thousands of employees. We are just a local team doing our bit in the Jeedi Metla industrial zone. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit and wait it out, chatting about the weekend.
