Our branch is tucked away in Venkatapuram Colony, right in the Padao Nagar area of Secunderabad. If you know the 6 1 314 building, you know where we are. It’s a quiet residential spot mostly, though the main road gets noisy during the school rush. We spend our days dealing with a lot of retirees and families who live nearby. The fan in the corner makes a clicking sound that we’ve all stopped noticing. It’s not a massive space, so things can get a bit tight when everyone decides to show up at once on a Monday morning. We don’t go for any of that corporate polish here. There are some old files on the shelves and the tea guy comes by twice a day. Usually, someone is asking about a fixed deposit or trying to fix an ATM card issue. We just sit at our desks and work through the pile. Sometimes the power goes out for a minute and we all just wait for the generator to kick in. It’s a simple setup. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. Secunderabad has its own pace, a bit slower than Hyderabad, and we like it that way. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a bank branch where you can get your work done without too much fuss. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint eventually.
