Ibs Alumni Relations is based at H No 8 3 228 187 1 in Rahamat Nagar, Yousafguda, Hyderabad. It’s located in a busy residential pocket where the streets are narrow and always filled with scooters. Our office is in one of those buildings that has been around for a long time. It feels a bit like a home because of the way the rooms are laid out. We spend most of our time going through lists and trying to keep track of where everyone has gone. It’s a lot of data and phone calls. The desks are crowded with folders and the occasional half-empty water bottle. Since we are in Rahamat Nagar, there are plenty of small shops nearby where we can grab a quick bite or some stationery when we run out. The noise from the street is pretty constant, especially the vegetable sellers and the bikes, but it becomes background noise after a while. We don’t have a big fancy lobby. If you come to see us, you just walk right into the main work area. It’s a bit messy sometimes, especially when we are in the middle of a big project and there are papers everywhere. We just try to keep things moving and stay on top of the names and numbers we have to manage. It’s just regular work in a regular part of Hyderabad, and we are fine with that.
