Ibex Engineering

Our workshop is down on Subbaramashetty Road in Basavanagudi. It’s an old part of the city and we’ve been part of this street for quite a while. The place is filled with the smell of grease and the sound of machines humming. We spend most of our time looking at blueprints or fixing parts that have come in for repair. It’s not a clean job; our clothes usually have a few stains by lunchtime. We don't have a fancy office or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back working on a lathe or checking some measurements. We try to be as precise as we can because in engineering, even a small mistake can cause a lot of trouble later on. We handle a variety of small and medium jobs for local businesses and individuals. Some days are frustrating when a machine breaks down or a part doesn't fit quite right, but we just keep at it until it's sorted. We aren't a big corporation with lots of levels of management. It's just us doing the work and making sure things are built to last. People know they can drop in and talk to us directly about what they need. It’s a straightforward way of doing things that has worked for us for a long time. There's no point in overcomplicating things when you have work waiting for you on the bench.
