Hygine Foods

Hygine Foods is based out of a house in Uppariguda, right on Raja Nagar Road in Moula-Ali. We have been working from this location for a while now. It is a kitchen-focused place where we prepare stuff. We spend a lot of time cleaning floors and washing pots because that is the most important part of food work. It is not a big factory. It is more like a large home kitchen that never stops running. We have a few people helping with the chopping and the packing. The smell of spices is always in the air here. Sometimes the heat from the stoves gets to be a bit much, especially in the afternoons. We try to keep things organized but when a big order comes in, it gets a little chaotic. We pack everything by hand and check the seals. It is a lot of repetitive movement, day after day. We aren't trying to be a huge brand. We just want to make sure the food we send out is something we would eat ourselves. The delivery guys come and go throughout the day, taking parcels to different parts of the city. We start early in the morning before the sun is even up to get the prep work done. It is just a regular group of people making food in Moula-Ali. The bins are always full of veggie peels by noon.
