Our office for Hyderabad Pollution Controls Ltd. is located at No. 90-G in Phase I of the I.D.A. Jeedimetla. Being in an industrial development area means we are surrounded by factories and workshops, which is exactly where we need to be. We spend our days dealing with the technical side of environmental rules and making sure equipment is running the way it should to keep things clean. It’s a lot of testing and looking at gauges. The office in Jeedimetla is practical—lots of metal desks, some testing kits, and plenty of logbooks. It gets hot in the afternoons out here in Phase I, but we’ve got our fans going and we keep at the tasks. We aren't some big corporate group from a skyscraper; we’re the people on the ground in the industrial zone. Most of the other business owners around here know us because we’ve been in this unit for years. We do our job, fill out the reports, and help the local plants stay on the right side of the regulations. It’s not glamorous work, and there’s always a bit of grease or dust around, but it’s necessary for the city. If you’re driving through the I.D.A., you’ll find us near the other heavy units. We keep a simple schedule and just focus on the machines and the air quality every single day.
