Hsbc

We are over at 1 955 in the Ramnagar area of Hyderabad. It is a bit of an older part of town, which we actually like quite a lot. The building has a lot of character, even if the paint is peeling a little in the corners. Hsbc has been operating out of this spot for a good while now. You won't find any big flashing neon signs here. Just a small nameplate near the entrance. Most of the folks around here are used to seeing us coming and going. The traffic in Hyderabad can be a bit much, but once you get inside the office, it’s mostly quiet. A few desks are pushed together in a small area where we keep the records. It's a tight squeeze sometimes when we have a lot of stuff delivered. Instead of the whole corporate thing with fancy meetings, we just sit down and figure out what needs to happen for the day. Sometimes ordering biryani from the place around the corner is necessary when we have a long afternoon ahead. It’s a very straightforward way of working. There’s no script or anything when you talk to us. We’re just regular people trying to keep things running. Decent light comes through the windows in the mornings. Keeping the place tidy is a constant battle with all the paper we deal with, but we try our best.
