Hr Engineering is located at 10-2-226 on Shanti Nagar Road. We’ve been operating from this location for some time now. Our shop is mostly filled with lathes and drill presses. It’s the kind of place where you’re going to get some grease on your hands if you stay too long. We do various types of engineering work, mostly fixing parts or making small components that people need for their machines. It’s precision work but in a very manual way. We don’t have fancy automated systems. We rely on our eyes and our hands to get the job done. Shanti Nagar is a decent area and we have a lot of neighbors who bring in things they need repaired. Every day is a bit different depending on what breaks or what someone needs built. We keep a lot of scrap metal in the corner because you never know when a small piece might come in handy for a quick fix. The lighting isn't the best, but we have some strong lamps over the workbenches so we can see what we are doing. We just try to be useful to the people who come in. It’s a small shop, and we like it that way because we can keep track of everything ourselves without too much trouble or paperwork. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a short break to talk before getting back to the machines.
