Our current address is H No 1 7 139 71 in SRK Nagar, located in the Rishala area of Mushirabad, Hyderabad. It’s a bit of a long address to write down, but once you get to Mushirabad, people can usually point you toward SRK Nagar without much trouble. We work out of this house because it puts us right in the middle of the community we are part of. The streets around here are often quite narrow and busy with people going about their daily shopping and chores. We have a small area set aside for our files and where we sit to discuss our daily plans. It’s not a high-tech office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s a regular Hyderabad house with stone floors and fans spinning overhead to keep the heat away. We spend a lot of our time coordinating different tasks from this single location. The noise from the street comes in through the windows, but you get used to it after a while. Most of the people we interact with are locals from the surrounding blocks. We don't use much fancy language to describe what we do. We just show up every morning, open the doors, and get to work on whatever is on the list for that day. It’s a practical way to be accessible to those who need to find us without making them feel like they are entering a big, intimidating institution. We've been here for years.
