Hindustan Industries Engineering

Our office is at 201, Nagasai Nivas, which is right opposite Mytri Hospital in Srinivasa Colony East, Ameerpet. If you know Ameerpet, you know it’s a hub of activity with students and businesses everywhere. Hindustan Industries Engineering has been in this building for quite a while. It’s a typical Hyderabad apartment-turned-office kind of space. We do a lot of technical work here, mostly related to engineering projects and industrial supplies. The walls are covered with technical drawings and some old calendars. We have a lot of books on engineering standards piled up on the shelves. Because the hospital is right across the street, there are always ambulances and people around, so it never feels lonely. Our work involves a lot of calculating and talking to clients about their equipment needs. It’s not always easy, and sometimes we stay late to finish a quote or a design. The furniture is a bit mismatched, mostly stuff we’ve picked up over the years as we needed more space. We have a small balcony where we go to take a breath when the office gets too stuffy. It’s a busy environment but we like it that way. We don’t go in for corporate talk or fancy presentations. We just show people what we can do and give them a fair price. It’s a practical way to run an engineering firm in a busy city. Most people find us through word of mouth.
