Hindustan Concrete

Our place is out at Survey No.294 in Rampally, over in the Keesara area. It’s a bit of a drive for some, but it’s where we have the space for all the heavy gear. We spend most of our hours dealing with concrete batches and keeping an eye on the weather, since that changes how things dry. The yard is usually full of materials waiting to be used. It’s not a quiet job. There is always some noise from the equipment or the trucks coming in. We keep a small crew here. Most of us have been doing this for a long time, so we know the routine. We don’t spend much time sitting in the office. There’s always something that needs moving or a batch that needs checking. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, but you get used to it after a week. It’s a simple operation at Hindustan Concrete. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks. If a customer comes by, they usually find us out back by the piles of gravel or the mixers. We like the location because it gives us room to breathe. The road gets busy sometimes with all the construction nearby, but we just stick to our work. It’s just honest labor in the sun. We keep our tools ready and keep the mixers turning. Some days are long, but we just get through the pile of work one step at a time until the gate is locked. It is hard work but it keeps us busy.
