If you go into the Industrial Estate at Sanat Nagar, you’ll find us at C-61/A. It is an area where there’s always the sound of metal hitting metal and the smell of machine oil in the air. We’ve been operating out of this unit for a while. The floor is concrete and usually has a few stains from the work we do. We aren’t wearing suits here; we are usually in work clothes that might have a bit of grease on them by noon. Himatech Engineers is basically a workshop where we deal with technical parts and engineering tasks. It gets quite hot in the afternoons under the shed roof, but we are used to it. We have some heavy machinery that takes up most of the room. We don't really have a reception area, just a small corner with a table where we keep the registers and the phone. Most of our visitors are truck drivers or other workers from the estate. We don't spend money on fancy signs or marketing stuff. We just focus on the machines and making sure the dimensions are right. It’s a gritty, noisy environment, but that is how engineering shops are. We take our breaks when we can and usually talk about the work or the heat. It’s a simple, honest way to earn a living in the industrial belt. We don't promise anything other than showing up and doing the engineering work needed.
