Heidelberg Cement

Our place is at 2-2-250 in the Amberpet area of Hyderabad. If you’ve ever driven through this part of the city, you know how the traffic can be. It is loud almost all day. We are right in the middle of it. Heidelberg Cement has this office here mostly to stay close to the local action. Hyderabad is growing fast, but Amberpet still feels like the old city in some ways. The building we are in has seen better days, maybe, but it works for us. We have a few desks and some old chairs that we probably should replace one day. There is a small tea stall just down the road that makes the best ginger tea, which helps us get through the busy mornings. We usually start around nine. Most of the time, we are just looking at delivery schedules or talking to people on the phone about where the bags need to go. It isn't a high-stress corporate environment. We know each other well. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour, and we just sit outside and talk until it comes back. It is just a normal office with normal people. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights. Just the address on the door so people know they found the right spot. It’s practical. We do what we have to do and then go home.
