You can find us at 5-3-325 on M.G. Road. It’s a fairly old building and we’ve been operating out of it for a good number of years. Being on M.G. Road means there’s always something happening outside, usually just a lot of traffic and people rushing somewhere. Inside our shop, it’s all about engineering. We have various lathes and machines set up in the back for the metalwork we do. It’s noisy and there are usually metal shavings on the floor by lunch. We aren't the type of place that cares much about how things look; we care more about if the machine part fits right or if the weld is solid. People bring us sketches on scraps of paper sometimes, and we sit down and figure out how to make it work. It’s a lot of trial and error and grease on our clothes. Our desks are covered in old blue prints and coffee mugs that have seen better days. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. If you walk in, someone will look up from whatever they’re cutting or grinding and talk to you. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes in. Sometimes it’s a big order and sometimes it’s just someone needing a small fix. We treat them both the same because work is work at the end of the day. It's just a regular engineering shop on a busy street.
