Hackberry

We run things out of Villa 4. It’s a bit different than being in a big commercial park, but we like the quiet. Hackberry is basically just a small group of us working together in a space that feels more like a home than an office. We have our desks set up in the main rooms and use the kitchen for breaks. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, which helps when we are trying to solve tricky problems. We don’t have a big sign out front or anything like that. People who know us just come by when they need something. We spend a lot of time on our laptops, usually working on projects for people who need a bit of technical help. It’s been this way for a while now. We prefer it this way because we can actually focus without all the usual office distractions. Sometimes we work late into the night if a project is really interesting. There aren't any managers breathing down our necks, just us making sure we do a good job for the folks who hire us. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way. We aren't trying to grow into some massive company. We just want to keep doing our work from Villa 4 and keep our people happy with what we deliver. It’s pretty straightforward and it keeps us out of trouble while we work.
