Green Space Technologies

Our office is actually Flat 404 in the Ashiana Apartments over in Chennai. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is out, but we don't mind much. We’ve been doing tech work from this apartment for a good while now. It’s definitely not a traditional office space. We have servers humming in the spare room and desks set up in what used to be the living area. The view from the balcony is mostly other buildings and the busy street below. Living and working in Tamil Nadu, you get used to the humidity, so we always have the AC running as much as we can. We spend our time writing code, fixing bugs, and talking to people who need help with their systems. It’s a small team, just a few of us who have known each other for years. We don't have a human resources department or a fancy breakroom. We just take turns getting water or snacks from the kitchen. It’s a quiet way to work, and we like being tucked away from the main commercial hubs. It lets us focus on the actual work instead of all the office politics you get in big companies. We just do our best with what we have and keep the projects moving forward. It is not always easy, but it is what we know how to do best.
