Green Fields

Being up here in Flat 402 of Pranag Heights gives us a decent view of the Mehdipatnam area, though mostly we are just looking at the rooftops and the traffic down below. Our office isn't very large, but it fits the desks and the few of us who work here every day. We handle a lot of the planning for green spaces from this room. It gets quite warm in the afternoons when the Hyderabad sun hits the windows, so we usually have the fans going full blast. Most of our work happens out on site, but this is where the paperwork gets done. There are always stacks of drawings and site maps cluttering the main table. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, and we have to take the stairs, which is a bit of a workout. We’ve been in this part of Gudimalka Pur for a while now. The neighborhood is loud and busy, which we kind of like. We usually grab tea from the stall around the corner around four o'clock. It’s a regular routine. We don't have a big receptionist or a lobby. If you come by, you just knock on the door and walk into the middle of whatever we are discussing. It’s just us working through the daily list of tasks. We keep things moving and try not to get buried under all the files.
