Ghouse Engineering Works

Ghouse Engineering Works is located right by Pillar 176 on the Attapur Road. We are in the old court building area, just beside the Lakshmi Hyundai. It’s a busy spot in Upperpally, Rajendra Nagar. There’s always the sound of metal being cut or welded coming from our shop. We do a lot of different engineering tasks, mostly fixing parts or making metal structures. The floor is usually covered in scrap metal and oil. I’ve been working here for years and I know the tools like the back of my hand. People from all over Rajendra Nagar come by when they have something broken. It gets pretty loud and dusty inside, especially in the afternoons. We don't have air conditioning, just a few old fans that move the hot air around. Sometimes my hands are covered in grease for the whole day. It’s just the way the work is. We keep the shop open late if there’s a big job to finish. The address at 2-2-5 is easy to find if you look for the pillar number. We don't bother with fancy brochures or stuff like that. Most of our work comes from people walking in or hearing about us from their friends. It’s a decent living and it keeps us busy. My sons help out when they aren't in school. We just try to fix things right the first time so they don't come back broken.
