Our office is tucked away in 401 Laxmi Deepak Residency on Plot 63 in West Marredpally. Secunderabad is a busy place, but this particular corner feels a bit more like a neighborhood than a business district. Being up on the fourth floor means we get a bit of a breeze when the windows are open, though the lift can be a bit temperamental if too many people try to use it at once. We’ve been at this Secunderabad 500026 address for a while now, and the locals in the residency are used to seeing us coming and going with our bags and laptops. Inside, it looks exactly like what you’d expect from a workspace in an apartment building. There are files stacked on the corner desks and a small kitchen area where the kettle is almost always running. We don't have a big corporate lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you just knock on the door of 401 and someone will let you in. The walls are a plain off-white color and we’ve got a few potted plants near the balcony that we sometimes remember to water. It is a simple place where we focus on getting through the pile of work on our plates. There is no polish here, just a group of people trying to do a good job in a space that feels more like home than a cold office building.
