Genpact

Genpact is located at Plot No 262 in the New Vasavi Colony, over in the Kakaguda Karkhana area of Secunderabad. It’s a bit of a distance from the main hub, but it’s a decent neighborhood. The office itself is functional. We have the usual desks, some storage cabinets that don’t always lock right, and a break area that is mostly just a table with a water cooler. The colony is usually quiet, except for when the school nearby lets out. We handle a lot of different tasks here, mostly involving data and paperwork. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s steady. We have a small group of people who have been here for years. We know each other’s families and what everyone likes for lunch. The weather in Secunderabad can get pretty intense, so we’re grateful for the fans. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or slogans on the walls. We just have a list of things that need to be finished by the end of the day. Sometimes we stay late to catch up, other times we leave right on time. It is a very standard way of working. We just want to do our jobs, get paid, and keep things moving. If you come by, you’ll probably find us busy with some spreadsheets or on a call. It’s just how it is here.
