Gemini Edibles & Fats India Pvt. Ltd. is based out of Freedom House in Banjara Hills. We’re right across from the SBI Executive Enclave on Road Number 5. It’s a nice enough neighborhood, fairly quiet compared to the main roads of Hyderabad. The building isn't huge, but it fits our team well. We deal with cooking oils and fats, so the conversations in the hallway are usually about crop yields or shipping prices. Our office is functional. We have some files stacked up and plenty of desks that have seen better days. It feels like a real workplace, not a showroom. We don’t have a big reception area with a fancy waterfall or anything. Usually, there’s just someone at the front to say hello. Most of the staff has been here for years, and we’ve seen the company grow bit by bit. We have our tea breaks together and complain about the summer heat like everyone else. The parking out front can be a bit of a squeeze if you get here late. We focus on our daily tasks, checking the market rates and talking to our suppliers. It’s steady work. We aren't interested in being the loudest voice in the industry, just in doing the job correctly. Sometimes the internet goes slow, and we just use that time to catch up on paperwork. It’s a simple, hardworking atmosphere here. There’s always something to do before we lock up for the evening.
