Geetha Ice Factory

Our factory is right on Shivaram Road in Chepurpally, just across from the Santoshi Mata Temple. If you are looking for us, we are right by the Vamshi Vishnu Theater too. It is a pretty busy spot with people always coming and going for the movies or to visit the temple. We started this place because we saw a need for ice around here, and we’ve been at it ever since. The machines are old but they still work hard, making a lot of noise throughout the day. We spend most of our time moving heavy blocks around and loading up trucks. It’s not a clean or dry job. The floor is always wet and we have to wear rubber boots most of the time. We don't have a front desk or anyone to greet you with a smile, it is just us workers doing the heavy lifting. In the summer, things get really crazy and we barely have time to sit down. We just keep the water running and the cooling units humming along. You can hear the temple bells from inside the factory, which is nice when things get stressful. We don't do any big advertising or anything. People just know where we are and come by when they need to fill their coolers. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do.
