Our office is down on the ground floor of Plot No 69, which most people know as the Balamrai Paradise building. It is tucked away in Viman Nagar here in Secunderabad. Being on the ground floor is actually pretty nice because we don’t have to deal with elevators or too many stairs when we are coming in and out. The area is quite busy, and finding a place to park can be a bit of a headache some days, but that is just Secunderabad for you. We have a simple setup inside. A few computers, some chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of files. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a relief when the sun is hitting the building hard. We are just a small part of the Ge Capital Services India branch. People stop by sometimes asking for directions because the building name sounds a bit more grand than it actually looks from the street. We keep to ourselves mostly and focus on the tasks at hand. It is a decent spot to work, right in the 500003 zip code area. We have been here long enough that the local tea stall guy knows exactly how we like our chai. It is just a regular office life for us, nothing flashy or complicated. We just show up and do what needs doing every day until the sun goes down.
