Meera Oil Company

Meera Oil Company operates out of Gaganpahad at Sy No 136. If you know the Gaganpahad area, you know it’s a big hub for industries and logistics. Our place is basically a big warehouse and yard area where we handle various types of oil. It is a messy business, to be honest. No matter how much you clean, there’s always a bit of an oily film on the tools and the floor. We wear old clothes because there’s no point in trying to stay spotless. Our days are filled with moving barrels, checking valves, and talking to the tanker drivers. The traffic in Gaganpahad can be a real headache, especially in the evenings when everyone is trying to leave the industrial estates. We don’t have a fancy reception area or a secretary. Usually, if someone comes by, they just find one of us in the yard or at the small desk in the corner of the warehouse. We’ve been here for a while now and we know the neighbors and the local tea stall guys quite well. It’s a very basic setup, just enough to do the work. We aren’t interested in looking corporate. We just want to make sure the orders are accurate and the loading happens on time. It’s loud, it’s greasy, and it’s a lot of physical labor, but that’s the reality of the oil business at this level.
