Down at Plot A-19/2 and T-4/2 in the Ida Nacharam area, you’ll find us working away at Forbes Marshall (Hyd) Pvt Ltd. This part of Nacharam is always full of activity, especially with all the industrial plots squeezed together. Our site is spread across those two plots, so there is usually a lot of walking back and forth between the sections. We focus on steam and instrumentation stuff, though it's mostly just pipes and valves to someone looking in from the street. The gates stay open during the day for deliveries. It gets pretty busy around lunch when everyone heads out at once. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the neighbors and the delivery drivers by name. Inside the shed, it’s mostly the smell of grease and the sound of metal being moved around. We don't have fancy carpets or a coffee machine that makes lattes. Just a regular kettle and some sturdy desks. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we're more worried about the orders getting out on time. Working in an industrial area like Ida Nacharam means you get used to the grit. We’re just a bunch of engineers and technicians trying to get things right the first time. It isn't a glamorous life, but it’s what we do. We like the routine and the fact that there’s always something to fix. It keeps us busy and out of trouble.
