Financial Times Research Centre

We are based in Hyderabad, specifically in the Madhapur area. Our office is Flat No 808 in the Varuna Block of My Home Navadweepa. It’s right beside Hi Tec City, so there is always a lot of activity around here. Being in a large residential and commercial complex like My Home Navadweepa means there’s a lot of coming and going. The flat has been converted into a research space where we spend our days. It’s got a good view of the city from the eighth floor. We work on various research projects related to financial times and data. It’s a quiet environment for the most part. We have our desks set up in the main rooms and a small area for meetings if we need it. The kitchen is mostly used for making coffee and storing lunches. It’s a comfortable enough spot to work. The commute can be a bit of a pain because of the Hi Tec City traffic, but once you’re inside the complex, it’s much calmer. We don't have a corporate lobby or anything. It feels more like a home office because that’s what it originally was. Most of us have been working together for a few years. We just come in, do our research, and keep to ourselves. It’s a straightforward way of doing things in a very busy part of Hyderabad. We don't really worry about making the place look fancy, we just focus on the data.
