Executive Officer

The address is 1-1-652/K/190, situated in Arundhathi Nagar. Most people just call it Gandhi Nagar, Hyd-20. As the Executive Officer, I spend a lot of time in this particular office. It is not a very large space, but it fits everything we need to get our work done. We have a heavy wooden desk that takes up most of the main room and a few metal cabinets for all the files and folders. Arundhathi Nagar is a lively neighborhood, so there is always some kind of noise coming from the street, whether it is children playing or someone selling vegetables from a cart right outside the gate. The building itself has seen better days, but it is sturdy and keeps the rain out. We have a small window that doesn't quite close all the way, so we get a bit of a draft when the weather turns cool. The light switch for the back room is finicky and you have to toggle it just right to get it to stay on. We keep a lot of records here, and sometimes it takes a while to find exactly what you are looking for in the various stacks. We drink tea twice a day, usually brought in from the stall around the corner in a small kettle. It is a straightforward kind of life here in Gandhi Nagar. We show up, do the paperwork, and talk to the locals until we lock up.
