Our setup for Elina Informatics is actually in an apartment building, SV Shree Nivasam. We are in Flat 101. It’s a bit different than a big office block, but it suits us just fine. Hyderabad is a big city, and being in a residential style building makes the day feel a bit more relaxed. We have our computers and files all set up in the rooms. It’s mostly just a few of us working together on informatics tasks. We don’t have a big sign out front or a lobby with a receptionist. You just come to the flat and we’re there working. It’s a quiet way to do business. We focus on getting the technical details right. No one here wears a suit unless they really have to. We prefer just being comfortable while we deal with all the data and coding stuff. Sometimes the neighbors might wonder what we’re doing with all those monitors, but it’s just us working. We like the independence of this setup. It’s honest work without the corporate overhead. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and it feels like the right place for us. We just take it one day at a time, making sure we stay on top of our deadlines and keeping things simple. We don't have a company car or a cafeteria. We just cook a little something in the kitchen or order in when we are too busy to leave the desks.
