Our workshop is out in the Ida Kukatpally area, specifically at F-2/B in the Gandhi Nagar Extension. It’s an industrial part of town, so there are always trucks moving and a lot of dust in the air. Dream Foods isn’t some big, shiny factory. It’s a practical space where we focus on getting our products ready. The floor is concrete and we have a lot of stainless steel tables that we spend half the day scrubbing. It can get pretty loud with the machinery running, so we usually have to shout a bit to be heard. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything. If you came to visit, you’d mostly see stacks of bags and people in hairnets working fast. The breaks are short, usually spent sitting on some crates outside to get a bit of fresh air. We’ve had some issues with the plumbing lately, but we’re getting it sorted. It’s just part of running a business in an older industrial zone. We don’t spend time on big meetings or planning sessions. We just look at the orders for the day and start working. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment needs to go out, and we all pitch in to finish the packing. It’s not easy work, and it’s definitely not pretty, but it’s what we do. We’re just local people making food in a busy part of the city.
