Operating a practice in Hyderabad City keeps me pretty occupied throughout the week. My name is Dr. Walthaty Vijaya Ramana Murthy. It’s a long name for a fairly simple office setup. I chose this location because it’s central and easy for people to find. We are in the 500001 zip code area, which stays busy from morning until late at night. I spend my hours seeing different people with different health problems. It’s never really the same day twice. Some days are slow, and I have time to catch up on some reading. Other days, the phone won’t stop ringing and the chairs are all full. I don’t have a fancy reception desk with a computer screen facing the door. It’s more of a traditional setup where I handle most things. I like the independence of it. The street noise outside is just a part of the background now. I’ve grown used to the hum of the city while I work. My main goal is just to stay on top of the appointments and make sure everyone gets a few minutes of my time. It isn't a high-tech facility, but I have what I need to do my job properly. Being a doctor in this part of Hyderabad feels like being a part of the community. I just keep showing up and doing the work, day in and day out, without making much of a fuss.
