Sree Nandini Medical Corner

Sree Nandini Medical Corner is situated at 8-21-2, Plot No 69 in Srinivasa Nagar, which is part of the Chinthal area. It is a local pharmacy where we keep all the basic medicines people usually need. The shop is filled with rows of boxes and small glass cabinets. We spend most of the day standing behind the counter, reading prescriptions and finding the right strips of tablets. It’s a quiet kind of work, but you have to be very careful with the names and the dates on everything. We have a small fridge in the back for the medicines that need to stay cold. Often, neighbors come in not just for medicine but to ask for a bit of advice on a cough or a small cut. We aren't doctors, but we’ve seen enough to help with the simple things. The fans hum all day to keep the place cool because Chinthal can get quite stuffy. We know a lot of the elderly people who live around Srinivasa Nagar because they come in every month for their regular tablets. It’s a humble place, no bright flashing signs or anything like that. We just focus on keeping the shelves stocked and helping the people who walk through the door. Sometimes the delivery guys come late and we are still sorting boxes when it’s time to close up.
