We are located in Defence Colony, right on the fourth floor of the A401 building. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens sometimes. Most of our day is spent handling tubes and paperwork for all the health checks. People come in early, usually before breakfast, and they are often a bit cranky because they haven't had their coffee yet. We try to get the blood draws done quickly so they can go eat. The office isn't very big, just a few rooms with the machines and some chairs for waiting. We’ve been at this spot in Vivekanandapuram for a while now. Street No-10 can get crowded with parked cars in the afternoon, so we tell people to come early. We deal with a lot of different tests, some simple and some that take a few days to get the results back from the lab. It’s a lot of data entry and making sure the names are spelled right on the forms. We have a small desk for the receptionist and a tiny corner for the staff to eat lunch. It gets loud when three or four families come in at once. We just focus on getting the samples right and moving to the next person. It’s plain work, but it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. This is just a regular lab doing regular work.
