Arm Centering Centre is tucked away at 1-4-523/7 in Bholakpur, which is part of the Musheerabad area in Hyderabad. If you find the United Weigh Bridge, you are basically right behind us. Our yard is filled with centering materials like poles and plates that people use for building houses. It’s a dusty place because of all the iron and wood we move around. We don’t have a fancy showroom, just a big open space where the trucks can pull in and out. Most of the work involves loading and unloading heavy stuff, so it’s pretty physical. The guys here are used to the grease and the noise of the weigh bridge nearby. We have been in Bholakpur for a long time and the locals know us by name. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when it rains and the ground gets all muddy, but we keep going. We don’t spend much on advertising because the word of mouth usually keeps us occupied. It’s a rough and ready kind of business. We spend our days counting stock and making sure the equipment is in good enough shape to go out to the next site. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, but it’s what we do.
