Do All Engineering

Do All Engineering is over at Plot No.38 & 43 in Shakti Puram Ie Kukatpally. We’ve been around this industrial estate for a while now. Most days it’s just us working with the machines and trying to get orders out on time. The shop floor is usually a bit messy with metal scraps and tools lying around where someone forgot to put them back. It gets pretty loud once all the equipment is running at once. We handle a lot of different engineering jobs, hence the name we picked. People from around the area bring us things to fix or parts they need made. Sometimes we have to stay late when a machine breaks down or a big job comes in at the last minute. The tea stall nearby is where we spend our breaks, just talking about the work or whatever else is going on. Kukatpally has changed a lot, it’s much busier now than when we started. The traffic outside the estate is a real headache in the evenings. We aren’t some big fancy firm with a polished lobby, we just have our workspace and our tools. It’s hard work and it’s greasy, but it’s what we do. We try to be fair with people and just get the job done right the first time if we can. Sometimes we make mistakes, but we always fix them. That’s just how it goes here in this corner of the estate. The sun gets really hot on the tin roof in the afternoons.
