Digital Concept Foods

You will find us over at Plot No. 108 in Singareni Colony. Saidabad is a busy area of Hyderabad, but our little corner is usually somewhat manageable compared to the main roads. We got into the food business because it is something everyone always needs, but the "digital concept" part of our name just means we try to use some modern tools to keep track of our inventory. The building isn’t much to look at from the outside, just a standard plot where we do all our processing and packing. Inside, it is mostly stainless steel tables and people moving around quickly to get things done. We have a small staff that has been with us since the day we opened up. In the mornings, the whole place smells like whatever ingredients we are working on that day. It is a lot of physical work, lifting heavy crates and making sure the temperatures in the storage area are exactly where they should be. We don't have a big corporate office with fancy furniture; our workspace is located right next to where the actual food work happens. Lunch is usually a quick affair for everyone because there is always a delivery arriving or a batch that needs checking. Singareni Colony is a mix of homes and small businesses, so we try our best to keep the noise down. Most of our day is spent on the phone with various vendors or checking the quality of the ingredients coming in. It is not a glamorous life, but we like being part of the food supply chain here.
