Dhan Foundation

This is where we operate from, right here in Guntur, over in the Sanjeevaiah Nagar area. The address is a bit of a long one to write down, 7-6-444-1 on the 1st lane. We have been at this exact spot for a long time now. People usually come in through the 5th cross road when they are looking for us. We do foundation work, which mostly means helping out where we can within the local community. It is definitely not a big office with glass walls or modern art on the walls. It is just some old chairs, a few computers that have seen better days, and plenty of files stacked up on the shelves. Vavilala Anjaneyulu started things off here and we have just followed along with the routine. Most days it is just us answering a lot of questions and trying to figure out things for the people who walk in off the street. It gets very hot here in Andhra Pradesh, so we keep the windows open most of the time to get a breeze. We are not trying to be famous or get on the news. We just do the work that needs doing. Sometimes the neighbors bring over some snacks or tea when they see us working late into the evening. It is that kind of place, very simple and straightforward. We do not even have a big sign out front, but most people in the lane know the house number. Just come down the lane and you will see the gate.
